Hi! It really is unusual for us here in Saint George to get snow that stays on the ground. The snow at our house was 3" deep. With our house facing mostly North, the winter sun doesn't get to it much so it doesn't leave without a good bit of persuasion.
We were glad to get the snow because the water in it will be much needed next summer.
